PROFILE

Empire Agricultural Coffee Services Ltd

EACS is a Ugandan-registered Coffee Marketing Agent and Coffee Value Addition company (Reg # 80020000023208), founded in 2011. We specialize in collecting, processing, and exporting premium-grade coffee, primarily sourced from member cooperatives and farmer groups.

Our core mission is to empower smallholder farmers by integrating them into the coffee value chain through value addition, increased production, and access to remunerative markets. Our range of products includes:

  1. Premium-grade green coffee beans (Arabica and Robusta)
  2. Roasted and packed coffee beans
  3. Roasted and ground coffee

Additionally, our services focus on Support for fair-trade and organic certifications
Agronomic training and capacity building for smallholder farmers

Problem Statement: Farmers in Uganda face low earnings due to limited participation in value addition, poor production practices, and unorganized markets. This results in lack of pre-finace ability, low incomes and adversely affects their ability to improve livelihoods, including access to education, healthcare, nutrition, and housing

5.     Clients include Fair Trade-certified buyers and organic distributors in Europe and the U.S., supported by trade finance from Rabobank to ensure stable farmer payments and business growth
